I enjoy a HP MX704 monitor. When I try update from net or compact disc is says messed up. Access denied. And the original drivers are also lost. I can't roll final drivers either. It also say access denied.
Answer:
Dont know why you would need to. Windows usually have a driver that will do the trick unless you have a special monitor. Here is the site tho...

If the monitor is working dont mess next to it!
Normally, monitors don't have software to update.
Rather, you update the software for the graphics card. To do that, you go through at either your computer maker's website, the graphics card maker's website of the graphics chip originator (usually Nvidia or ATI) website.
You don't need drivers for your monitor. All monitors hold a chip built in which store information that your operating system/screencard driver can access to determint maximum revitalize rate and resolution.
You may however be able to receive an updated colour profiles. Some manufactures do donate drivers for their monitors but the drivers are only to address unmistaken issues regarding how the monitor is reported to window and in some instance the driver one and only installs different colour profiles, i am just speculating since i single ever installed monitor drivers once and that was contained by 1997, and I have since built lots pc's.
