How do you safely/correctly verbs a computer monitor?

What products are out nearby that wont damage or damage a computer screen when cleaning them?

Answer:

>Get a cheap bottle of 70% (isopropol) rubbing alcohol. Mix the alcohol 50/50 beside water. Use the mixture next to a very, enormously soft cloth to (gently) clean the eyeshade.

Or...you can buy the expensive LCD screen cleaner surrounded by the little bottle for 8 bucks (or so), if you like. The expensive stuff is 50/50 marine and 70% isopropol alcohol.

DO NOT use Windex or other glass cleaners...they can fog the plastic peak!<
3m makes a really righteous cleaner for lcd screens http://www.greenlightoffice.com/product/...

I use it , it is righteous. You can also use a soft cloth and spray glass cleaner ON THE CLOTH not the peak and wipe it. That works just as powerfully.
