How do you incorporate an external monitor to your laptop, is near a hoof it through on how its done?

The uncomplicated way to do it is this :

*Connect the external monitor's video cable to the RGB or DVI port on your laptop

*Connect monitor power cable to an outlet

*Turn on monitor. Your PC will automatically detect the external monitor and initiate a screen beside display options

*Select the settings you want and click OK

I just hook the external monitor to my laptop and consequently boot up the laptop and voila! It works..
most of laptops have any vga out port or s-video out. use on of them. you will probably have to use the vga if you are using a computer monitor.

Your laptop should have a jack on the final that a monitor will plug into. Once plugged in, right click on an unfurnished area of your desktop and choose properties. Then choose settings. You should own the ability to see dual desktops from there. Good Luck!

gross sure you montior is plugged in and press the fn+what ever knob that symbol appears on. on most laptops its on the key 'F5' or 'F4' knob. this will change where on earth the output is set to. keep pressing the combination until your thankful with the setting
You only just plug it in and hit doesn`t matter what function key on the laptop that toggles between int, ext, both. IMPORTANT - You hold to find this key to turn it on!
