HOW DO YOU FIX CRT MONITORS THAT HAVE BURN-IN DAMAGE?series anwsers simply!!!?

DONT ANWSER IF YOUR GONNA TELL ME TO BUY A NEW MONITOR!!!



I BOUGHT ALOT OF THESE OLD MONITORS AND I WANT TO REPAIR THEM SO I CAN SELL THEM TO PPL ON EBAY!!!



PLEASE BE SPECIFIC AND TO THE POINT IN YOUR ANEWSRS!!!



IM TIRED OF PUNK@SSES WHO ANWSER AND THAN ADD STUPID DETAILS THAT I DONT NEED!!!

Answer:

The 'burn in' is in actuality etched onto the back of the CRT. Although it might be possible to 'burn' it smooth with a pure white carving - I imagine it would lift weeks to complete. Don't even know if that would work.
We are not helping you sell damages monitor on ebay.
Here's the simple answer...



Unless you are a TV technician, you can't fix it. It's more or smaller amount permanent.
There is no channel to repair them that would be cost efficient i.e. it would cost more to repair than they are worth and what you could go them for.
If the damage is from burn surrounded by, then they have need of new tubes. Burn surrounded by damage is not something that you can wipe stale with a towel and some special fluid. Yes thats right, its the largest chunk in the monitor, and replacing them will pretty much negate any profit you could own received from selling them.
It's kinda like fixing burned out desk light bulbs.....you can't.
You have to replace the picture tube.



It isn't worth the cost. A unmarked CRT would cost less.
