How do you set your montior to 256 colors?

I needed to play a game on a disc, and it says that I enjoy to set my monitor to 256 colors. Please help!

Answer:

Right click on the desktop, walk to "Properties", "Settings", chlick the drop-down list for Colors and select 256. This should set it up.

If a dialog comes up asking if you want to hang on to these settings, click OK or Yes.
In Windows, right-click on an open nouns of screen. Do not stir near any icon. A pop-up menu will appear. Go down to the bottom of the menu and click properties.

A dialog box will come up with tab. Click on the Settings tab. There will be a drop down list near setting the color quality. Click on the arrow and set it to 256 colors. Click apply on the bottom of the box. Then exit out of the dialog box by clicking the X.

Happy gaming!
