How do you set your montior to 256 colors?

I needed to play a game on a disc, and it says that I enjoy to set my monitor to 256 colors. Please help!


Answer:

Right click on the desktop, walk to "Properties", "Settings", chlick the drop-down list for Colors and select 256. This should set it up.



If a dialog comes up asking if you want to hang on to these settings, click OK or Yes.
In Windows, right-click on an open nouns of screen. Do not stir near any icon. A pop-up menu will appear. Go down to the bottom of the menu and click properties.



A dialog box will come up with tab. Click on the Settings tab. There will be a drop down list near setting the color quality. Click on the arrow and set it to 256 colors. Click apply on the bottom of the box. Then exit out of the dialog box by clicking the X.

I use it , it is righteous. You can also use a soft cloth and spray glass cleaner ON THE CLOTH not the peak and wipe it. That works just as powerfully.
U can serach and discover it online. what ever it says contained by the internet. otherwise. u can find help by researching it. anywhere u shift. if its the library, ask the librarian.
well, if its an behind the times monitor with a chalice screen, purely get some Windex and spray it on.



if its a flat blind like on a laptop, i construe a moist cloth does it well.

first .. you requirement a video card that have 2 monitor outputs. next get 2 monitors. afterwards use a software provided by the video card company to help you set it up(i enjoy ATI radeon. so i use the software ati catalyst control center ). then lately connnect them!!

Buy a clear card that has two outlets any VGA mode or Digital D mode. IF you have a graphics card that have only one outlet next you can buy a splitter.

how do you run 2 monitors beside window xp pro?

I hold an ATI Radeon X800Pro and would like to run 2 monitors from it. Is it possible?

Yes you can run two monitors next to this graphics card. One of the monitors needs to be connected using the standard VGA port. The other will call for to be connected via the DVI port which is larger than the VGA port.



Make sure that the monitor has the prerequisite ports for you to connect to this card.



First, connect one monitor and boot up the PC. Once logged in, after connect the second monitor.



On the desktop, right click and choose Properties. In the subsequent dialog box that appears choose the tab labelled Settings. You should next see two boxes depicting screens categorized 1 and 2.



One of these will be your primary monitor, choose the slightly greyed out one by just clicking once on it and highlighting it.

how do you rotate the peak of your computer?

Not physically openly, but rotate the image on the monitor. I know on some computers you can right-click the setting and go to "graphics properties" and afterwards "rotation" or something like that but it doesn't appear to work on my computer.

Right click on desktop>proprties>settings>adv... there should be a Tab for Rotation nominated thier..then rotate it untill u bring back what you are looking for...if this doesn't work, go to your device representative click on monitor then proporties and after you should find somthing there scheduled under advanced.



Also if you peak just turned sidways on you I would run a virus scan...in that is a new virus out their causeing funny things approaching that...Just got rid of a simular problem on my friends workstation...every time she wanted to clear a new document her peak would rotate or flip...the cause be a TROJAN.
