how do i put my workstation contained by sanctuary mode?

Answer:

it is call Safe mode. while booting keep on pressing "F8" push button on first row of your keyboard. next from the menu which follows select safe mode. however u can't access clear features, sound, cd-rom drive etc; while running secure mode.
When it boots up keep drumbeat the F-8 key
When you see the message "Please select the operating system to start" on system startup, press F8.
