How do I nick the stand/base sour of a CRT Monitor?

I own a 17" CRT, made by HP, typical CRT... I would like to help yourself to the stand off of the bottom, since it doesn't fit surrounded by my desk. It looks and feels approaching it should be able to unhook somehow, but I'm not exactly sure what I enjoy to do to get it past its sell-by date. It is pretty typical of most CRTs, so maybe you can sustain?

Answer:

It should come off but it is really rugged sometimes to do. Luckily you have a 17 inch which is not too rugged to handle. Turn past its sell-by date and unplug. Put upside down on bed or carpet. There should be for a time clip underneath the stand that looks like it presses contained by. Hold it down and PULL. It will come off if you are pulling contained by the right direction. Just look and see if there are little things that look approaching they need to be pressed surrounded by first.
It does just unhook, within should be a lever that you either push down or verbs up on that relieves preasure than slide the base so that the hooks come undo and pop it off.

It's not that frozen you will just hold to try a couple things.

Good Luck
